The Joyful Noise C-Fund Working with Hope House in 2017

The Joyful Noise C-Fund is always looking for opportunities to enrich the lives of children and families in our area, and that means partnering with existing organizations who are doing just that! A ministry of Love Inc, Hope House offers housing and rehabilitational services in the Tri-Cities area for men, women and children. Getting ready for music class in the children's area at Hope House!

Students had fun playing a musical cup game!

This year, the Joyful Noise C-Fund supported Love Inc and Hope House in a few different ways:

  • Organized clothing/supply drives that helped to clothe families at Hope House and offer them much-needed supplies like toothbrushes and other hygiene items
  • Offered children staying at Hope House a fun holiday music program through the Gift of Music, as well as free jingle bell and tambourine instruments and music instruction.
  • Supported the Hope House with inclusion and invitation to our Love of Literacy Program at Loutit District Library for 2017
The Joyful Noise C-Fund will continue to support Hope House in coming years, and in order to provide services for this organization and others like it, there is something that YOU can do to help US!

Make a tax-deductible financial donation to the Joyful Noise C-Fund today through cash, check or credit card/Paypal. Your contribution will support outreach that enriches the lives of families and children in our area in many profound ways!

The Third Annual "Pizza Plus Books" C-Fund Event is Coming!

For the third year in a row, Joyful Noise Christian Childcare’s C-Fund is giving away hundreds of brand new books at the “Pizza Plus Books” event on Wednesday, March 15th from 4:30-6:30 p.m., in program rooms A and B at Loutit District Library in Grand Haven.

WHEN: Wednesday, March 15th at 4:30-6:30 p.m.
WHERE: Loutit District Library, Program rooms A&B in Grand Haven, Michigan
WHO: Children from infancy to 8 years of age!

No registration is necessary for the book fair, which is open to the public and will offer free books to underserved children from infancy up through eight years of age. Attendees can also enjoy a free pizza dinner from Domino’s as well as access to other early childhood resources!

“One of the best parts of my year is watching the children come through the doors when we open the event,” said third-time event volunteer and early childhood teacher, Kelly Van Hook. “Seeing the brightness in the children’s faces and watching them try and decide between all of the great choices for books means so much to me.”

The National Institute for Early Education Research reaffirmed the importance of early childhood literacy with a study in 2016 linking the availability of reading materials and parent involvement with a successful reading outcome for children entering kindergarten and beyond. Providing access to age-appropriate books and nurturing parent and child reading relationships is a cornerstone of the Joyful Noise C-Fund’s Love of Literacy program mission.

The C-Fund seeks to connect young children and families with not only high-quality books but also early childhood resources to support lifelong learning.
